Tooth number 9 and tooth number 10 are no longer in the mouth of the MyMy. Number 9 came out on our way home from the LuLu's basketball game. Under the pillow it went, waiting ever so patiently to enter the Tooth-Fairy Kingdom. Apparently it did, because in its place was the amount of $2.00 in coinage.
The MyMy, so pleased, left another note under her pillow the following night saying thank-you and asking for a picture. Well, to the MyMy's dismay, the note went unread and no picture was left. The MyMy sought solace and comfort from the parents since the Tooth-Fairy had inadvertently dished her. The wise and quick thinking father, asked if the MyMy had yelled out her request in the dark, open air, announcing her letter, in which she replied, no.
That night, the note was once again placed under the pillow. An invitation was announced, outside on the porch, for the Tooth-Fairy to come enter the slumbering house, and, leave a picture, of course. No request given to the Tooth-Fairy is impossible! At least, not for this Tooth-Fairy. She, or, should I say He, one will never know, came through with flying colors! (Whew!)
The picture was taken to school. It was shown to the class along with the bright, happy smile on the MyMy's face. The teacher and the students were in awe. The Tooth-Fairy has revealed herself, ever so slightly! Some however, were skeptical, but not to those who truly believe.
Earlier that morning, when the MyMy was eating a bowl of Apple Dapples, tooth number 10 exited the mouth of the MyMy, eagerly set to go and join its friends in the Tooth-Fairy Kingdom. Which meant, another visit from the Tooth-Fairy, another $2.00, another happy and believing girl.
Priceless!
