The girls and I just got back from spending 2 weeks with family. One week was spent in Utah, and 4 days were spent in New Mexico. We had a great time! Our trip was so fun and filled that it pretty much took us 3 days to recuperate.
Here is a summary.
We spent the 4th of July watching the Kaysville City Parade, eating hamburgers and homemade ice-cream, getting wet, and relaxing under the fireworks.
We enjoyed visiting the Oquirrh Temple Open House and realizing, once again, that Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ love us so very much. Oh what a feeling!
We spent a day birthday shopping with Aunt Ani. Man, she spoils us!
We also enjoyed an Ogden Raptors game with Uncle Josh and cousin Raili. The Raptors creamed the other team! The weather and scenery were very enjoyable too.
We then traveled to Farmington, New Mexico for cousin Maleah's Baptism. It was a very nice day for a really cute girl. While there, the girls had the opportunity to play with cousins along the river.
They were also able to sneak up to the beautiful mountains of Durango, Colorado for some canoeing and kayaking.
The only thing that could have made the trip better was having Derrick with us. He was truly missed.
